Customize the Food Field Settings in the Food Submission Form

The field editor, a sub-menu under the food manager (WP Admin >> Food Manager >> Field Editor) offers the flexibility to edit field labels including the type of data, description, placeholder and more.

These settings include the following options:

  • Only for admin: By enabling or disabling it, you may modify the admin’s control for entering the data.
  • Priority: Shuffle up or down to the order of the fields according to your priority.
  • Validation: Determines if filling up the data is compulsory.
  • Tab Group: Customize the food field according to your preference. However, access to this feature will only be limited to the admin.

How to Add a New Food Field to the Food Submission Form?

WP Food Manager allows you to add a food field to the Food Submission Form as per your requirements. You need to follow the below steps to complete the task.

  1. Login to your WordPress-Admin account.
  2. Wordpress Admin Login

  3. Select “Food Manager and then “Field Editor.

  5. Click on the “Add Field” option.

  7. Fill in the desired details of the new field to be added.

How to Edit the Food Field?

With WP Food Manager, you can also make changes to the Food Fields, for which you need to take the following steps:

  1. Login to your WordPress-Admin account.

  3. Select “Food Manager and then “Field Editor.

  5. Select the field you want to modify and make changes as per your requirements.

How to Delete the Food Field?

Users can remove the unessential food fields as per their requirements in the WP Food Manager. Here are a few easy steps that users need to take to follow:

  1. Login to your WordPress-Admin account.
  2. Wordpress Admin Login

  3. Select “Food Manager and then “Field Editor”.

  5. Click on the cross button (⛒) that can be seen at the end of each field row.
  6. Fields Delete

  7. A pop-up appears asking for confirmation to delete the selected food field. Click on “Ok.”

  9. Select the “Save Changes” option, appearing at the bottom where the food field list ends.
