Table Reservation
The ‘Table Reservation’ addon helps the listed restaurant owners add their table layouts for reservation to your website so that their customers can book tables in their restaurants easily.
Note: To use the ‘Table Reservation’ addon, you should use the ‘Restaurant Manager’ addon.
Installing the Plugin
The ‘Table Reservation’ plugin can be installed in either of the two ways- manually, or automatically.
- Manual Installation: Use FTP or SFTP tools for manual installation of the plugin. Click here to learn how to do it manually.
- Automatic Installation: Visit the website’s backend for automatic installation of the plugin. Click here to learn how to do it automatically.
Install and activate the ‘Table Reservation’ addon.
Backend Table Reservation Management
Manage All Reservations
The ‘All Reservations’ option displays a list of the reserved tables at different added restaurants. You can manage reservations of the tables from here.
Follow the path mentioned below to access the ‘All Reservations’ section.

How to Edit/Delete a Reservation from the ‘All Reservations’ Section?
In the “All Reservations” option, you can filter the dates and edit or delete reservations as per your needs or preferences.
However, you can either delete reservations one by one or delete multiple reservations at a time.
Follow the below-mentioned steps to edit/delete a reservation.
- Log in to your WordPress account.
- Go to the ‘All Reservations’ section.
- Choose a reservation you want to edit or delete.
- Go to the ‘Actions’ column.
- Click on the ‘Pencil’ icon to edit.
- Click on the ‘Bin’ icon to delete.
Adding a New Reservation
The ‘Add New Reservation’ option allows you to add a new reservation from the backend.
How to Add a New Reservation?
Follow the steps mentioned below to add a new reservation.
- Log in to your WordPress account.
- Go to the ‘Add New Reservation’ section.
- Fill in the Reservation details.
- Hit ‘Publish’.
Manage All Table Layouts
The ‘All Table Layouts’ option allows you to edit or delete table layouts with just a few clicks. You can also delete multiple table layouts from here.
How to Edit/Delete a Table Layout?
Follow the steps discussed below to edit/delete a table layout.
- Log in to your WordPress account.
- Go to the ‘All Table Layouts’ option.
- Go to the table layout you want to edit/delete.
- Click on the ‘Pencill’ icon to edit.
- Click on the ‘Bin’ icon to delete.
Adding a Table Layout
The ‘Add Table Layout’ option enables you to add a new layout of the table easily.
How to Add a New Table Layout?
You should follow the below-mentioned steps to perform the action.
- Log in to your WordPress account.
- Go to the ‘Add Table Layout’ option.
- Fill in the table layout details.
- Click on ‘Publish’.
Field Editor
The ‘Field Editor’ option allows you to manage different forms’ fields related to the online table reservation process.
You can add, edit, or delete various fields of the following forms from here.
- Table forms
- Reservation forms
- Cancel Reservation forms
Save changes.
Settings
The ‘Settings’ option helps you manage the plugin’s data, user restrictions, and time and date format.
It has the following tabs.
1. General
- Delete Data on Uninstall: Tick the box if you want to delete the plugin’s data after uninstalling it.
- Delete With Restaurant & Table: Tick the box if you want to delete the reservation after deleting a restaurant or a table.
- User Restriction: Check the box if you want users to login before booking the tables.
- Reservation Default Status: Set the reservation default status from the dropdown.
2. Date & Time Format
- Timepicker Step : Put the value of timepicker steps
- Date and Time Separator : Add the date and time separator.
Shortcodes
Shortcodes help the ‘Add Table’ form and ‘Book Table’ form display at front end.
However, to add shortcodes, you have to create a New Page. Follow this path to create a page.

Set-Up
- Shortcode for Add Table: Add a [add_table] shortcode to the page. Hit the ‘Publish’ button.
- Shortcode for Reservation Dashboard: Add the [table_reservation_dashboard] shortcode on the new page. Click on the ‘Publish’ button.
Frontend Table Reservation Management
Adding a Table
The ‘Add Table’ form allows the restaurant owners to fill it up to add their table layouts for online reservations.
How to Add a New Table Layout from the Frontend?
The restaurant owners should take the steps discussed below to add their table layouts.
- Go to the ‘Add Table’ page.
- Fill in the form giving the required details.
- Submit.
Managing Table Layouts
The ‘Table Layouts’ option of ‘Restaurant Dashboard’ allows restaurant owners to edit or delete the table layouts.
How to Edit/Delete a Table Layout?
The restaurant owners should take the following steps to edit or delete a table layout.
- Open ‘Restaurant Dashboard’ page.
- Click on ‘Table Layouts’ just below ‘Restaurants’ on the left side.
- They have to go to the table layout for editing or deleting.
- Click on the ‘Pencil’ icon to edit.
- Hit the ‘Bin’ icon to delete.
Book a Table from Frontend
The ‘Book Table’ form allows the restaurants’ customers to book tables online in their preferred restaurants.
There are two ways your restaurants’ customers can book a table.
- From the page where you have placed the shortcode for booking a table.
- From the Restaurant detail page.
How to Book a Table from the page?
Your customers should take the below-mentioned steps to book a table from the ‘Book Table’ page.
- Open the page where the table layout shortcode is placed.
- Fill in the form by giving the required details.
- Click ‘Submit’.
How to Book a Table from the Restaurant Detail Page?
Your customers should follow the steps discussed below to book a table from the restaurant detail page.
- Open the ‘Restaurants/Restaurant Listing’ Page.
- Click on your preferred restaurant.
- Scroll down to the ‘Table Reservation’ form.
- Give the required details.
- Click Submit.
Reservation Dashboard
The ‘Reservation Dashboard’ is the dashboard that displays customers their table reservation details. From here, they can view, cancel, or delete their reservations.
How to View, Cancel, or Delete Reservations?
The customers should take the following steps to perform their required actions.
- Go to ‘Reservation Dashboard’.
- The reservation detail box has three options at the upper left side.
- Click on Three Vertical Lines icon to view more details.
- Click on the ‘Circle with a diagonal’ icon to cancel.
- Hit the ‘Bin’ icon to delete.
Note: However, the customers have to give reasons for cancellation in the ‘Reason for Cancellation’ box and then click on ‘Request Cancellation’.
Viewing and Managing the List
The ‘List’ section of ‘Restaurant Dashboard’ showcases all the table reservation details to the respective restaurant owners. From here, the restaurant owners can set the reservation status of their booked customers.
How to View Table Reservation Details?
The restaurant owners should follow the steps discussed below to view table reservation details.
- Open ‘Restaurant Dashboard’ Page.
- Click on ‘Table Reservation’, and then on ‘List’.
- Click on the ‘Three vertical lines/ details’ icon at the right side of the list.
- You can see the details.
- Click on the ‘Cross’ icon to close the details section.
How to Set the Reservation Status?
The restaurant owners have to follow the steps mentioned below to set the reservation status.
- Go to ‘Restaurant Dashboard’.
- Click on ‘Table Reservation’, and go to ‘List’.
- Click on the ‘Pencil’ icon just beside the three horizontal-lined details icon.
- Select the proper reservation status from the dropdown.
- Save changes.
